Gallery 2 on Edward is pleased to offer its clients the opportunity to lease artwork for their offices or public areas (or homes). As Art Consultants, Gallery 2 on Edward can assist you with all your artwork requirements including: paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography and commissioned pieces. You may require a sculptural piece or a painting for a foyer or as a showpiece for your office or building. Rather than purchase a piece, it may be advantageous to lease a work and gain the resultant tax benefits by doing so. After the lease period, you may wish to change the piece and refresh the display with a new work; or if the work still suits, re-lease the piece for a further term at a lower lease rate. What are the benefits of leasing? Little Capital Outlay. By leasing artwork, your company will have little initial capital outlay. Once approved for the lease you simply pay a 10% deposit and thereafter pay monthly lease payments. There is no ‘buyout’ at the end of the lease, (unless that is your wish). Once the term of the lease is completed, the artwork is simply returned or alternatively re-leased (at a lower rate) for the term of your choice. A work may be bought out of the lease at any time.
